 Understanding Mental Health

Mental health is something that we all have although our understanding of it may shift based on our background. Mental health exists both with and without mental illness, which is something that not everyone has. The two are different but are often interrelated. Mental illness does not necessitate poor mental health and likewise, good mental health does not indicate a lack of mental illness. You can start by looking at the resources here

Self-Care

There are many different issues which make self care important, but the main thing for us to remember is that we are not alone. There are many other people who have gone through the same issues that we have, and there are many resources here that help us learn from their experiences and improve the quality of our self care. For this to work we need to implement two simple steps:

Dealing with Mental Health

Dealing with our own mental health may be a challenging task when we don’t know where to begin. It is key to figure out if what we’re experiencing is, in fact, a mental health issue.

Help a Friend

As we navigate through our lives and relationships, it often becomes clear that our friends and loved ones may be going through some experiences that we may or may not relate to.
